FURTHER INFORMATION

Measles is a highly contagious virus. It can be spread simply by coughing or sneezing. Symptoms can appear up to 12 days.

High temperature, runny nose, watery eyes and cough. A rash over the body often appears a few days after infection.

No specific "cure" other than time. Ibuprofen or paracetomal can be used to reduce temperature (aspirin should not be given to children under the age of 16). Plenty of fluids and hot drinks (for cold symptoms). Speak to your pharmacist if symptoms continue.
